Join CCS on Friday, September 25, 2026, as we honor those affected by cancer and raise awareness about cancer in our local community.
About Into the Light
Into the Light is a Cancer Awareness Walk in Isabella County, MI. Participants walk, share, laugh, eat, but most of all raise awareness about cancer in our community. This event is held annually in Mount Pleasant, MI. This year it's on Friday, September 25th, 2026. There is a cancer survivor’s candlelight ceremony and walk. This walk brings cancer survivors from our community together to provide hope and encouragement to each other and to celebrate life. The success of this event lies in the volunteer spirit of everyone. This annual event helps to raise money for Cancer Services of Isabella County. All money raised will remain in our county to help those in need. Let your family and friends know about this special event. Come walk with us. Food is available from donations made by local businesses.
Luminaries
With your donation a luminary will be made in honor of anyone who is battling cancer, a cancer survivor, or in memory of someone who has died from cancer. Luminaries light the pathway of the entire event. Donors can personalize the luminary bag with names, pictures, special messages and design.

The 27th Annual "Into the Light" Celebration will be hosted on Friday, September 25th, 2026, at the Isabella County Fairgrounds.

FUNDRAISING
Team members will receive an event t-shirt (limited sizes available). Ask family, friends and co-workers to pledge their support. ALL proceeds benefit Community Cancer Services for cancer patient support. Your Team Name will be included on the event t-shirt if team information is submitted prior to August 27, 2026. T-shirts are also available for a donation.
